All in the same boat began life as a series of updates to friends and family as we navigated the previously unimaginable twists and turns in our journey home from Antartica to Perth, Western Australia. We had set out from home on March 2 and boarded our small ship, along with 113 other passengers, in Ushuaia, Argentina on March 9.
While we experienced all the delights of Antartica, the world abruptly changed. A lightly edited chronological collection of those initial updates is available below. Beginning with Border Closure through to Home.
It became so much fun writing the updates that I have continued to write. The title seems as apt now as it did when I coined it. We are all in the same boat as we continue to navigate this COVID 19 journey.
